Jesus warned us of false Christs and many of us have looked at that literally as in a person appearing claiming to be Jesus. But I beg to put forward a notion beloved brethren, that these false Christs Jesus is warning us of are actual TEACHINGS seeking to impart to the body a warped and polluted portrait of Christ, introducing, if you like, a “new” Jesus.
Beware beloved, Jesus is not defined outside of the word of God. There are some in this hour that are seeking to undermine the authority of the word of God in order to remove the ancient landmarks and pillars of truth to bedazzle a generation into a deception of toleration, compromise and unbelief. They preach a false Jesus who says “you don’t need faith I’ve done it all, you don’t need repentance, I’ve done it all, you will go to heaven regardless of whether you believe or not” and the narrative goes on.
The problem is when you undermine the authority of the word you forget that Acts 5:30-31 reveals that repentance is a gift given AFTER He ascended. If repentance was a gift and was only given after the cross and resurrection then my thought is I NEED IT to walk in the freedom of the cross. Repentance is not saying sorry! Repentance is a declaration that I choose to walk in a different direction, I no longer AGREE with a lie that is false to the truth and I choose to change the way I think about something.
So to deny repentance is a declaration that you choose to stay the same and refuse for your mind to be renewed and think differently.
This scripture in Acts also reveals that I have been granted forgiveness of sin which then announces the connotation that I am SET FREE of sin. That bondage is finished with. I am no longer a slave to the lusts, passions, and evil desires and nature of my carnal man.
As faith activates salvation (by grace through faith – which is a gift from God – Ephesians 2:8) it is by faith we partake of All Jesus has done. To teach that regardless of whether you believe or not you still get to receive forgiveness of sin, eternal life, there is no hell, etc is preaching a false Jesus.
Let me tell you something. Jesus did not take my choice away at the cross. That is the opposite to LOVE. People preach these lies in the name of LOVE and in fact it’s a mockery of love. TRUE love will never control me, true love will never hold me against my will. That’s why I was given a will in the first place. So to say you will go to heaven even if you reject Jesus is absolute deception! That is a gospel of UNBELIEF. We have to walk out our covenant daily by Grace through Faith.
Furthermore, the thought or notion that puts forth the idea that the love of Christ is a one sided covenant, whereby He is faithful and loyal to me but I can play the harlot is not a covenant of love. There is no victory in that.
Jesus did not brutally die for me so I can sin without a guilty conscience.
That is a FALSE LOVE and it’s the spirit of ANTI CHRIST. It is a FALSE CHRIST!
1 Timothy 4:1-2
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.”
Repentance is the gift He gave those who will choose to believe and appropriate it by grace through faith.
To have the audacity to preach and teach a Jesus who condones or isn’t bothered by sin is a mockery of the cross. He paid the penalty for it,YES, but not so we could stay the same! Hebrews refers to this kind of thinking as “trampling the son of God underfoot!”
The wages of sin is death and my Beloved WARRIOR KING came and delivered me from DEATH. Not just physical death but spiritual death that is imposed BY SIN!
Beloved you are delivered from everything that would reveal a demonic nature. The blood of Christ has set you free!
I Rejoice in my Jesus that paid the ultimate sacrifice so that I may have the grace to BELIEVE. I thank God I don’t have to perish in unbelief that I have been given the gift of grace to empower me to have faith and walk in the VICTORY of the cross.
