Romans 4:18
“When all hope in the natural was gone Abraham hoped in faith”.
Faith is not faith when you can see “pathways” of fulfillment. Faith is unseen. Hebrews 11:1 says it’s evidence of that which has not been revealed to your natural senses.
Hebrews 11:11
“Because of faith Sarah received power to conceive, even when her natural body was long past the age for it, because she considered God who had given her the promise to be reliable and trustworthy and true to his word”.
Her womb was dead, Abrahams loins impotent but for God that was the perfect environment for His promise to come forth.
Resurrection power moves on dead places.
1 John 5:4
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world even our faith”.
There is much talk about the overcomer in our time, but you cannot have a conversation about overcoming without having a conversation about true faith.
Yes if you can see a way in the natural it’s not true faith. True faith will take you outside your ability.
God wants to birth something through you by His Spirit so it will overcome the world.
If you can do it in your own strength it’s not faith.
You need grace for faith to be fulfilled. And grace is otherwise spoken of as “by His Spirit”. Grace is poured out upon the humble.
We are entering the third day, the Day of the Lord, the day of His resurrection. This is the day of Not by might not by power but by His Spirit.
You will not be able to flow “by His Spirit” without faith. You cannot separate the two.
In the beginning God created, he spoke- faith and the Spirit of God performed.
We are created “in his likeness” therefore we operate by faith and “by his spirit”.
God is bringing his people back to the covenant of faith, and it is their they will operate in his likeness , and by His Spirit as sons of the kingdom.
The just shall walk by faith.
True faith is the ingredient to overcoming the world. It is there we will see the kingdom born of the spirit.
Fight the fight of faith. That is the fight we have been instructed to fight. No other battle to engage in other than the battle of faith. It is there the enemy appears to oppose the purposes of God, because he knows once that thing is born he doesn’t stand a chance against it and he cannot touch it, conquer it or kill it.
Be of good cheer Jesus has overcome the world, and if you are in Christ then you are more than a conqueror and if God be for you, who can be against you.
Not by might not by power but by my spirit says the Lord. Zechariah 4:6.
