REVIVAL is awakening to Gods ways. It literally means bringing something that is DEAD, ASLEEP, on the verge of death, needing resurrection and causing one to come to their senses, just to name a few. I think you get the picture.
It’s repentance for where we have abandoned and traded His WAY for carnal, superficial traditions and customs that preserve reputation, gratifying our carnal reasoning and soulish intellect and desires rather than revering and pursuing His presence (relationship and intimacy).
The church in Sardis (Revelation 3) had a reputation apparently for being awake, but Jesus had to come and inform them in fact they were DEAD.
Man’s opinion of what being “awake” looks like is very different than the Lord’s opinion.
What is dead works in God’s opinion are sometimes works that man deems as successful. Dead works means things that have been birthed from the natural realm of man’s wisdom, desire and pursuit without faith. These are dead works because they hold no eternal value and are built upon the sand.
For those who are asleep in dead works He says He will come as a thief in the night.
Jesus said when He comes will He find faith in the earth Luke 18:8. Will he find those who are awake and watching or will those who are meant to be the sons of light be caught off guard because they are living as sons of the night (1 Thess 5:4-10).
This is the hour that the Lord is speaking to His church. His voice is resounding from heaven for those who have ears to hear.
REVIVAL looks different to what some may be expecting. REVIVAL is where the church returns to God’s ways and gets on YAHWEH’S page.
Be sure to know the hour of revival has already begun.
