Favour has been the word that has been resounding in my heart as we have crossed over in to this Jewish new year of 5780.
On Rosh Hashana while I was staying in Moravian Falls, the Lord gave me a dream and in the dream I was given a gift and it was a cup. The person giving me this gift declared over me ‘This new year will be a year of Favour”, and on the cup it was written 8:18.
FAVOUR IS THE POWER TO GET WEALTH IN THIS SEASON TO REAP THE PROVISION FOR THE GOD GIVEN VISION.
When I awoke I knew the 8:18 was referring to Deuteronomy 8:18;
“For you shall earnestly remember the Lord your God for it is He who gives you the power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”
I believe the Lord is decreeing Favour over His people as He puts in their hands the cup of blessing, that will run over, in order to fulfil their Kingdom assignments.
When I think of Favour I also think of Isaiah 61:2: “To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favour], and the day of vengeance of our God.”
When the Lord is decreeing a year of His favour He is also releasing His vengeance. Which is His justice and recompense, payback is in His favour.
Where His favour positions you and breaks open for you in this season to establish His covenant, this positioning and increase will carry recompense and reward.
To “establish” His covenant means to “make valid, to be fixed and unmoved”. His covenant refers to His promises to you. So this means that what God has promised over you is going to HAPPEN in this season. When Gods word over you is fixed and firm it happens. No one can uproot you when God has planted and established His word over you.
AN AMOS 9:13-15 SEASON.
“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once – and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel: They’ll rebuild their ruined cities. They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine. They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables. And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land. They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them” God your God, says so.” (Message translation)
THE CUP OF BLESSINGS
The cup I was given in the dream I believe refers to the cup that runs over referred to in
Psalm 23:5.
“He anoints my head with oil my cup runs over”.
The word “cup” in the Hebrew is : your portion
“Runs over” means: saturation, to be satisfied, to take your fill
It comes from a Root word: to be drunk, intoxicated, to drench, soaked and bathed. Totally immersed.
To be intoxicated is a result of having more than needed or more than able.
So Psalm 23:5 is in essence saying, “You will be so satisfied, and saturated, as you take your fill and are satisfied in your portion, you will be as if you are drunk on the goodness of God”.
There is great Favour and Wealth that is needed in order to position His people to establish His kingdom on the earth. You will reap in places where you haven’t sown. Doors of opportunity are going to open that only God can open. God will position you with favour with those who you need to connect and form relationships and partner with in order to fulfil your kingdom assignments.
A YEAR OF GREAT BOUNTY
Psalm 65:11
“You crown the year with Your bounty and goodness, and the tracks of Your paths drip with fatness.”
The Hebrew word for Crown is a primitive root which means: to encircle (for attack or protection); especially to crown – {compass} crown.
This year is crowned with a plentiful harvest
The word “Goodness” in this scripture in the Hebrew means: pleasure, prosperity, wealth and favoured.
He encircles us with His favour, pleasure, His prosperity, which is a bountiful harvest.
The word Paths in the Hebrew means: tracks, goings, where He is, his ways.
Fatness in the Hebrew means: abundance , fertility, blessing.
So we see here that this year will be completely encompassed with favour, pleasure and prosperity and wealth. And for those who are walking in the paths of where God is, will experience their lives dripping with fruitfulness, abundance and blessings.
REWARD TO THE FAITHFUL
“A Faithful man abounds in blessings”, Proverbs 28:20.
Favour is coming on the faithful ones who like Isaac have sown in times of famine. Those who have continued to sow in their lean seasons and sow in their lack, sow in their famine, the Lord says you have positioned yourself for the 100 fold blessing. Because that blessing of fullness is seed sown in sacrifice. That blessing is reserved for faithful obedience to give and give again, even when it hurt.
FAVOUR FOR THE HUMBLE ITS YOUR DUE TIME!
1 PETER 5:6 “Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and I will exalt you in due time.”
The Lord says due time has come for those who have willingly humbled themselves under HIS mighty hand. This in essence is saying that those who have yielded to the weight of the hand of the Lord, in this past season, who have chosen not to run ahead, who have chosen His way and His timing, even when it hasn’t lined up with their own, even when the waiting has been painful, even when the humbling has been refining, even when this position under His hand has cost them greatly in persecutions or loosing relationships, the Lord says that now is your reaping moment. I give and reward those who humble themselves under my hand the anointing of favour and Grace. In this season I am exalting you and positioning you in Favour. In this season I am placing you in positions that you could not do for yourself. This actually means the Lord is positioning you now in destiny and what you are called for. This doesn’t necessarily mean you will be lifted to a prominent seen place or that you will be seen by multitudes, although some peoples’ promotion does involve a public platform, the essence of this scripture actually means that the Lord will raise you to the position of your destiny. It means you are being put in your niche to govern and rule with Him.
ITS TIME FOR THE SCEPTER OF YES, THE SCEPTOR OF FAVOUR RELEASED TOWARD THE HUMBLE.
There is a promotion like Esther for those who have humbled themselves under God’s mighty hand, to Govern. As Esther was clothed in Favour and went before the King and found favour in His sight which transcended the law of that time; In this time the favour of God upon His people is going to transcend natural laws and decrees. The sceptor of favour will now be released toward these ones in order for Heavens mandate to happen. It’s now time where the Lords people are going to hear the YES! No more delay, no more being denied, It’s time to be positioned to Govern in your portion of inheritance to release Kingdom purposes in the earth, to uproot, to overthrow and to build and plant (Jeramiah 1:10).
